ناشد أحد أمراء قبيلة المسيرية في السودان الأستاذ باخت محمد حميدان العالم للمشاركة في إدارة الموارد الهائلة التي تزخر بها منطقة أبيي بهدف تزويد العالم بالغذاء من خلال الموارد الطبيعية المشهورة بها المنطقة، موجها رسالته إلى محبي السلام في جميع أنحاء العالم، باسم الإنسانية و الأخاء، مشيرا في ذلك إلى ما يواجهه العالم اليوم من تحديات جسيمة، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بنقص الغذاء، خاصة عنصر البروتين الحيوي لصحة الإنسان.
وقال حميدان في رسالته للعالم ” إنّ منطقة أبيي والاقاليم الغربية تحتوي على ثروة حيوانية هائلة تكفي لتغطية جزء من احتياجات العالم من البروتين، فالحيوانات التي تعيش على أرضنا قادرة على توفير غذاء صحي وغني بعنصر البروتين، إلى جانب ذلك، تحتضن مناطقنا ثروات غابية ثمينة تشمل الصمغ العربي، إن نسبة 60% من الصمع العربي للسودان من منطقة أبيي وما جاورها، وهو ما معروف يعتبر عنصرا أساسيا في العديد من الصناعات الغذائية والطبية، وكذلك العسل الطبيعي الذي يحمل فوائد صحية لا حصر لها”.
وفي السياق ذاته دعا الأمير حميدان شركات الترويج والتسويق العالمية المتخصصة في تسويق الثروات الحيوانية والغابية إلى المساعدة في إيصال هذه الموارد إلى مختلف بقاع العالم خاصة المؤسسات الصناعية الكبرى المتخصصة في صناعة الغذاء والدواء والعطور والكريمات التي تعمل في هذا المجال، نعتقد أن تعاونكم معنا سيسهم في تحقيق الخير والنفع لجميع الشعوب المحبة للسلام أجمع”، مؤكدا “أن كثرة الموارد في أبيي وقلة أعداد السكان الذين تبلغ أعدادهم حوالي ٢٥٠ الف نسمة، مع ثروة هائلة غير البترول والغاز والذهب يمكنها من تكون أكثر منطقة في العالم جاذبة للاستثمارات تحقق للمواطنين فيها الاستقرار والرفاهية”.
